What's your brand color saying about your company?

Color matters…research shows that when purchasing a product, more than 92% of people place the highest importance on visual perception with 84% being influenced by color. The colors that a company uses convey a great deal about the company and its personality. There's so much you could say about color! Karen Haller, a UK business color & branding expert, gives us a little psychology behind color and branding.











Here's some sample logos to get you thinking. My background is in graphic design and advertising. I have always been in love with logos, slogans and taglines. Oh, and a good jingle. I love thinking about how colors speak in subtle and not-so-subtle ways to carry a branding message across every platform and throughout the years. Very rarely will a company change their dominant color, though they may tweak the shade or complimentary colors somewhat. If a company completely changes their colors, you can be sure there's a big change going on behind the scenes.
